Pineapple Jam
This jam is perfect for when you want the fresh flavor of pineapple in your favorite snacks or just on its own.

Equipment
- Silicone Spoon
- Silverware Spoons
- Food Processor/Blender
Ingredients
- 1 Pineapple
- 2 tbsp Pectin
- 2½ cups Sugar
- ¼ tsp butter (sliver)
Instructions
- Place spoons in the freezer.
- Cut the pineapple, top and bottom first, then sides leaving the core out.
- Put cut up pineapple in the food processor or blender for about 20 seconds.
- Place a 2 qt. saucepan on medium-low heat. Stir in the pineapple, pectin, and butter.
- Once bubbling, stir, if it is still bubbling, then add sugar.
- Mix frequently to minimize clumping, and scrape off any foam that occurs.
- Once the mixture is thickend, test using a spoon from the freezer. Place a couple drops on spoon, and let it cool for about 30 sec. Once cool test using your finger to divide the drops. If they stay divided, the jam is ready, if not keep on heat for a couple more minutes and then test again. Repeat until jam seperates.
- Pour jam mixture into jam jars and let cool.
